"Ces 7 derniers jours, nous avons eu 4 rencontres avec le gouvernement indien et la négociation se déroule très bien. Le Ministre du développement rural a indiqué sa volonté d'être là à Gwalior le 2 octobre pour faire une annonce sur la négociation. A partir de cette déclaration et d'un consensus large des "Satyagrahis" nous déciderons de l'orientation de la campagne, c'est-à-dire si on poursuit la lutte ou si on transforme le moment en célébration."

In the last 7 days, we have had 4 meetings with the Government of India and the negotiation is proceeding very well. The Rural Development Minister has indicated his willingness to be there at Gwalior on 2nd October to make an announcement on the negotiation. On the bases of his statement and and broad consensus of the Satyagrahis, we will decide the direction of the campaign i.e., whether to continue the struggle or turn the moment into a celebration.
